Entering the rave or festival grounds is like being transported to another universe- and sometimes we just want to embody that feeling to the 100. So this one is for all those rave babies who want to take their looks interdimensional.
LETS TAKE OFF
With the holographic craze taking the universe by hyperdrive, harnessing your intergalactic rave baelien is now easier than ever! For the first look, we’re going for something that we can rock throughout the days or nights! When perusing through our rave wear catalog we stumbled across a pair of these Good Vibes Suspender Flares over at Little Black Diamond and we were instantly in love. So we decided that it was 100% necessary for us to find something that would pair perfectly with these bad boys! Make sure you’re giving yourself breathing room though, go for something light on the top to balance out the heavier bottoms.
So you ask, what oh what did we decide we needed to pair with these bad boys? Well, we mosied our way over to iHeartRaves and found us another 2018 festival season trend fishnets. We LOVE this little number right here. The Industrial Mesh Crop Top is one of our festival season go-tos! Not only does it look great with a pair of pasties (personal recommendations are over at Freedom Rave Wear), but you can also pair it with something a little less revealing to still maintain the same badass space chick vibe.
If you love the pants look but you’re still a little on the fence about the bell bottoms, we absolutely recommend checking out another Little Black Diamond piece paired up with either the mesh top shown above or head over to a personal fan favorite Ocean Moon! They’ve got these psychedelic tops that would pair perfectly with the Lace Up Assasin Pants we uncovered over at LBD!
NOW LETS TAKE IT TO ANOTHER GALAXY
Whilst traveling through our wardrobes and catalogs we stumbled upon a hidden gem! If you’re not familiar, you may have seen the beautiful @Jewelsthecat, rocking items from Mama Doux! Bringing to life what we would consider the fun and crazy patterns of the 80’s while still bringing to life the fun of the rave! Well, we decided to dive into the store head first and came across this magnificent Art School cutout piece and to say that we’re in love and obsessed are both understatements. Now, although this little number is enough to stand all on its own, we decided adding this Hella Holographic kimono was just the thing we needed! The kimono is a great addition to any outfit simply because they’re lightweight, provide you some cover if it’s a little chilly all while still being fabulous and fun! Include some accessories to make this look absolutely perfect! Head over to LeeLoo Gear! They have some out of this dimension harnesses that would complete any intergalactic space bae look!
Now, while we’re on the topic of items that will keep us warm, even during those cooler summer nights, while we were checking out Mama Doux, we managed to find ourselves falling in lust with this adorable hoodie that they’ve created! Using the same print as the Art Cut out piece above, Mama Doux created a hoodie that’s even more fabulous. Now we know what you’re thinking “A hoodie? Really…..?” Yes, really. The BEST part about a hoodie is that you can wrap it around your waist and it covers all your valuables without you needing to worry! Other than that, you also have something to sit on if you’re outside! Save your cutie rave booty and sit on something soft! Under this banger we were thinking a combo of iHeartRaves and Little Black Diamond. If you’re looking for a little extra somethin’ somethin’ to add to this outfit, try adding some fishnets with some boots! We also recommend adding a fanny pack (or our personal go-to thigh-pack) for some storage to keep your items safe! Now, if you’re wondering what kind of shoes we recommend, we highly encourage you to wear what you’re comfortable in! No one wants to try and dance and walk around in shoes that are uncomfortable! Especially for a rave! So, going off that note, we recommend a pair of comfy sneakers that you don’t mind getting a little dirty! Chuck Taylors, Vans and Nikes are all great options and have some great options in terms of different looks and comfort levels! Check them out!
