This week’s Feature Friday is a very exciting one! As we’re rounding into the end of the year, we’re it’s finally time to start planning for NYE. The end of the new year means it’s time for NYE festivals, which also means it’s time to plan our outfits! I’m sharing 3 NYE outfits featuring 1 chain top this week.

This year the ‘chain’ addition to rave wear has become a very popular trend. From tops to bottoms, and even harnesses- literally everything either has or can have added, a chain adornment. So, this week I’m sharing how I style one of my favorite chain adorned tops from Rolita Couture.

THE CHAIN TOP

I personally love these tops for a couple of reasons: 1. The chains aren’t heavy so they don’t pull down my top, 2. They’re a great option for girls with a bigger bust, or who, like me, want a little extra coverage on top, and 3. the color is the perfect amount of simple but dynamic so it’s a great staple piece for any rave wardrobe. OUTFIT #1

As previously mentioned, I LOVE getting multiple wears out of my festival clothes so buying ones that are a little more basic is my fave. So, for the first of our NYE outfits, I’m suggesting going with your basics! This look is featuring some of my favorite brands, such a iHeartRaves, DollsKill, and Tasteful Girls.

This is a classic look for any festival! Not to mention that all of these are ‘wardrobe staple pieces’ that will come in handy always! For this look, I’m focusing on accenting the chains for this look, so definitely something that has silver embellishments is going to be key!

I personally love a layered look, and the skirt trends this year are on point. So I decided to go with the popular Tasteful Girls Stargaze Skirt, along with a high cut thong bottom from iHeartRaves.

Of course, no look is complete without a bag and we all know how much I love a mini-backpack. So this outfit’s been paired with an adorable Delia’s x DollsKill bag, with… you guessed it! A sexy pair of Current Mood Traitor Platform Boots.

OUTFIT #2

Basics are always great to have for day and night looks. Outfit number two is going to be just that. This year there have been some amazing trends in terms of bottoms, from bellbottoms, to chaps, and even cargo pants. These are all great options when it comes to staying a little warmer in the lower temperatures.

Something I always struggle with at a festival (especially ones that are outside) is that it gets so cold at night. I’m definitely someone who can appreciate a good pair of pants! For this outfit, I’m giving you the perfect night look for this Rolita top.

Of course, sticking with the ‘premium staples’ theme, I’ve paired this look with a pair of classic black cargo pants from DollsKill with the ever-popular, Flight Boots (also from DollsKill). I wanted to stay simple and chic for this outfit so we’re keeping the accessories to a low with (another obsession) a Velvet Tangerine ShopBGlittz mask.

An added bonus for this outfit is that it’s simple- which means if you’re looking for something a little extra it’s easy to dress it up! If you’re someone that loves a bag, I would recommend a black/orange fanny pack that could go over your shoulder. Another great addition for anyone interested would be adding some braids/hair embellishments. Such as clip in braids, braid in dreads, etc.

OUTFIT #3

It’s New Year’s Eve! Having something with a little more shine and sparkle is a definite must. For this outfit, we’re doing just that. Since our top already has those amazing silver chains, we’re going to continue with that ‘accent scheme’ for this look. Silver is also a great color for NYE, so why not!

A little sparkle never hurt no body- right? For the final NYE outfit, we’re channeling our inner ‘shine bright like a diamond’. Paired with two of my favorite sparkling items from DollsKill.

To continue with our sparkle/silver theme I’ve decided to go with one of DollsKill Rhinestone corset ‘belts’ that doubles as a skirt with a matching pair of bottoms!
